RPZ 3 Evolution

This system transforms a single-sided edgebander into a highly automated solution, optimizing production flow while minimizing operator involvement. A single operator, positioned at the infeed, can manage the entire processing cycle: thanks to the automatic panel return, each workpiece can be reintroduced up to four times with complete autonomy. When properly configured, the unloading gantry also enables the automatic creation of finished panel stacks directly on the floor, improving end-of-line organization and logistics. The extraction unit, equipped with cantilevered motorized belts integrated with the edgebander transport chain, ensures precise handling even of small-sized parts. Conveyor belts handle larger panels, accurately positioning them for automatic gripping.

The unloading gantry, built on a robust portal structure, features a horizontal carriage that carries the gripping device, ensuring speed, precision, and reliability throughout the unloading cycle. In its standard configuration, the RPZ 3 releases panels onto an air table system located at the end of the return conveyor, facilitating handling and collection operations. The entire system is protected by a safety enclosure featuring anti-intrusion metal mesh and shatterproof panels in the hazardous areas, ensuring maximum safety during all automatic operations.
